You know that song What I've Done, By Linkin Park? Well if you haven't, you can just click on the first square on my videos and watch it. I saw the music video for the first time today on YouTube. The video makes you think about what we humans have done to Mother Nature. It shows us how "perfect" we really are.
Now I'm all for humans. But honestly, I feel more comfortable around animals than I do around humans. Don't know why, but I do. You can call me a tree-hugger if you want. I could really care less. But this video is just... I don't know. Inspiring. It really shows us how we just take what we need and give nothing back.
All we really care about is ourselves. I mean think about it. Most of us, I would think, live in America. America is just plain spoiled. We think we are number one. We think that our life stinks, because we don't have the clothes that are "in". We don't fit in with Society's idea of "perfect". Blah, blah, blah.
People in the United States, the United Kingdom, any first-world country, really, have a great life.
In the video it showed you little kids in Nigeria who were as skinny as mess from buliemia. Those people rarely have anything to eat. It showed you the racism against blacks in the '50's. The genocide of the Jews from a man who thought they didn't have the right to live. The KKK killing Christians. World War Two with it's Atomic bomb. And even the latest thing to happen. 9/11. When the Middle East decided to bomb the World Trade Centers. People who face hard times everyday, while we sit back and do nothing.
And it isn't only other human we have been unkind to, but Nature as well. Polution. Oil spills. Fires. Even building buildings over wildlife. We burn down rainforests. We take advantage of Earth in every wrong way possible. Do you people not notice that we need nature to survive?
Our lifes are as perfect as they are going to get. We have everything compared to other countries. Food. Shelter. Clean water. Homo Sapiens haven become such a spoiled race that sometimes I wonder if we even have the right to exist.

Wow. Just reread that today. How did I ever get that deep? It's kind of amazing.
